On 13th November 2007, Persatuan Alumni AOTS Malaysia successfully organized a Training Program on Inventory Management at Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The training program was conducted by Mr. Alan Lai, an active PAAM member with broad experience on this topic. 23 participants attended the program. This program was very hands-on with lots of practical exercises to enhance the participant’s understanding of the subject.

Topics covered included logistic cycles, inventory analysis, forecast process & risk management. These are the fundamentals of inventory management. The objectives of the program were to enable participants to define what to stock & how much to stock to avoid any shortage or excess, and practical tips on how to improve the service level through inventory management.
