On May 6th, 2004 PAAM and AOTS KL had a preliminary meeting with the Alumni Look East Policy Society (ALEPS). This meeting is the first step for both PAAM, AOTS and ALEPS to discuss on how they can work together e.g. joint activities.

PAAM members showed a very participative spirit when many of them turned up for this meeting including En A.Aziz Y.Kamaruddin (President), Eric Koh (Vice President), Khor Kai Tong (Hon. Treasurer), Au Yong Hui Nee ( Hon. Secretary), Mr Yap CM, Mr. Lim Eng Swee, Mr. Yang Chor Leong and Mr. Fong SC.
AOTS Kuala Lumpur was presented by Takeshi Ichikawa-san (General Manager).

ALEPS was represented by En. Za’ba Hj Youn (President), En. Zamree Bakar (Executive Secretary), En. Mohd Nizam Mohd Amin and En. Jamaludin Karim.

On May 14, 2004, PAAM had a meeting with another recognized association Japan Graduates’ Association of Malaysia (JAGAM) at PAAM’s office. PAAM was represented by its President En. A. Aziz Y. Kamaruddin. Ms. Au Yong Hui Nee and Mr. Lim ES being members to both associations made it possible to link these two societies. Mr. Ichikawa represented AOTS KL office; he explained the collaboration between PAAM and AOTS. JAGAM was represented by its President Mr. Yap Hong Teck, Mr. Yap Meaw Sang and Mr. Zulkeflee Khalidin. This meeting highlighted some issues such as suggestions to organize joint activities in the future and how JAGAM members can participate in AOTS training programmes.
