The President's Speech
A swan song speech from our President ...

Welcome to our first Newsletter for this year. During this first quarter, your Alumni office was busy with several seminars jointly held in cooperation with AOTS Malaysia. Visits to our Branches in Sabah and Sarawak are also planned.

I am sad to announce the resignations of both our staff Puan Suhaila Yaakup and Cik Wan Noor Hayati Lotfi, in January and February respectively. On behalf of all of you, I wish them all the best in their new undertakings.

Financially, we have been further strengthened in recent months with the Work Collaboration Agreement signed with AOTS in 2003. However, more can be achieved in terms of our activities, especially with regard to social and educational / training opportunities for our members. This is where members' contributions in terms of your time and ideas would be very much appreciated and welcomed.

Perhaps you should take the golden opportunity to come for the Annual General Meeting this April, and offer yourself for election on the Central Committee to serve the Persatuan so that with YOUR PERSONAL INPUT AND COMMITMENT our PAAM can attain greater heights of excellence in community service, at the national and international level.

This will be my last message to all of you, since we will be electing a new President and Central Committee line-up this April during our Annual General Meeting. My sincere apologies for any shortcomings during the last two years. I take this opportunity to gratefully thank the Central Committee Members and all of you for your kind support and understanding during my challenging but enjoyable two-year service.

I wish all of you SUCCESS in all your undertakings, and good HEALTH to you and your family. Thank you.
