  • Mr. Lim Eng Swee is a senior consultant of an engineering firm specializing in pollution mitigation system. He has just retired from senior management post in production engineering department from a Japanese multinational corporation (MNC) recently. He was the key person who has set-up the ISO14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) of the group’s companies in Malaysia. He was also the Chairman of the group’s Environmental Control Committee of the country.

    Ms. Au Yong Hui Nee holds portfolios in distribution, system and data analysis in a Japanese MNC. She has hands-on experience in ISO international standards. She spearheaded the establishment and subsequently implementation of ISO9001: 2000 and ISO14001 at the operational headquarters of the MNC in Malaysia. She is also among the awardees of the Japanese Government Monbusho Scholarship and Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM) Tun Razak Youth Leadership Award.

    SYNOPSIS

    Kaizen is a feedback action to continuously improve the quality, cost and delivery of products or services. Kaizen is defined as a small change of the method. In today’s competitive business environment, companies must adapt to quality concept as the basis to offer the highest level of customer service in order to be successful amidst the stiff competition.
